The triumphant return of KJB!

We are pleased to have KJB back to perform their eclectic array of jazz music as well as original compositions and arrangements from the various members.

Ken Gruneberg Played professionally while going to UBC in the 60's and 70's..Playing currently, locally with The Jazz Group of Seven and the Steve Giltrow Quartet.

John Parker Toulson Has a 50 year career in music as a bassist, arranger, transcriber, and educator. John began in Edmonton with Tommy Banks, then moved to Toronto to work in various CBC TV productions and settled finally in Vancouver. Over the years he has played with Joe Pass, Lennie Breau, Joe Henderson, Chet Baker, and many others.

Budge Schachte Guitarist, composer, producer, and arranger, Budge has worked with a stellar cast of diverse artists. He has appeared with poets and world/folk music groups to jazz ensembles, pop artists and symphony orchestras. Budge has twice been reviewed in Downbeat Magazine. He co-leads the well known string ensemble Van Django, who have recorded 4 CD's. His playing is featured on feature film soundtracks for which he composed, recorded and played on the sound tracks.
